Gloria was selcted as a writer for the all female, all African writing room of Netflix's new children's animation show Mama K's team 4. Set in Zambia, the series will air on Netflix in 2022.

Black Spring Press group selected Gloria's poem "Nothing Changes" for their anthology of The Best New British and Irish Poets, 2019 - 2021.

Born and raised in Lusaka Zambia, Gloria trained as an actress and writer at Oxford School of Drama and Brown University. Later she was accepted for a Masters in Creative Writing at Cambridge Univerisity.

She initially worked in theatre, earning a Bessie, New York Dance and Performance award. After a series of acting roles most notably in Mete Sozer's acclaimed And the Circus Leaves Town, she appeared in Rungano Nyoni's I'm not a Witch, which premiered at the Director's Fortnight in Cannes 2017, and went onto various festivals including Sundance and Toronto, as well as winning a  BAFTA for Best British Debut feature and being the UK's foreign language Oscar entry for 2018.

Seeing the dearth of roles and voices that reflect the contemporary African experience Gloria turned her hand to writing. Gloria's  most recent feature length screenplay, Victoria Falls was selected for the Urucu Realness Residency, B3 Talent Lab, MFI Talent lab and Cannes Cinefondation's Atelier 2019.
